What is happening in the United States now?

A significant widespread of Measles across the United States has now reached California with 9 confirmed cases and it will not stop. According to CDC as of 4th April 2025, 607 cases have been recorded in over 22 jurisdictions in the USA. The 22 areas are Alaska, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York City, New York State, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, and Washington.

This cannot be taken lightly; it can spread like wildfire and destabilize your health and sometimes it can even take away your life.

The easiest and the best way to save oneself from the spread and put a stop to the spread is to get vaccinated.

How do you recognize measles symptoms?

The symptoms typically appear between 7 to 14 days after exposure to the virus which can include high fever, cough, cold, runny nose, red watery eyes and a rash that starts forming on the face and then spreads all over the body.
